Position Summary

As the Supervisor Supplier Quality you will lead a team responsible for supplier quality assurance supplier development and first article inspections. You will guide quality control efforts support process improvements and help resolve production issues. This position plays a key role in building strong supplier relationships and supporting reliable manufacturing operations.

What you will be doing

  • Lead develop and implement quality control objectives audits and inspection plans to resolve production issues maximize reliability and minimize cost.
  • Drive immediate and long-term corrective actions through root-cause analysis line support and process improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee procurement and use of gauges supervise capability studies and ensure effective measurement systems.
  • Communicate quality concerns progress and corrective actions to management customers and OEMs.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards promote 5S and safety practices and support special projects as needed.
  • Drive supplier development initiatives mentor quality teams and lead cross-functional efforts to enhance supplier performance and product quality.

Basic Requirements:

  • Associates degree in Engineering Business or related field 4 years of experience in supplier quality or quality engineering.
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering Business or related field 2 years of experience in supplier quality or quality engineering.
  • Masters degree in Engineering Business or related field.
  • JD/PhD in Engineering Business or related field.
  • In lieu of degree 6 years of experience in supplier quality or quality engineering.
  • In order tobe eligible for consideration you must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent. Resident Applicants mustbe authorized towork for any employer in the U.S without sponsorship. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visaat this time.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Advanced knowledge of engineering science technology and their application to manufacturing and quality improvement for internal combustion engines.
  • Experience with quality systems manufacturing processes cost optimization and raw material evaluation for engine production.
  • Proficient in GD&T and advanced use of precision measurement tools and gauges.
  • CQE CQA or equivalent professional certification.
  • Demonstrated Six Sigma expertise including Green Belt or higher certification with experience leading cross-functional process improvement initiatives.
