Job Description
The Supervisor Safety & Security Programs is responsible for the development implementation administration and continuous improvement of the Companys Environmental Health Safety & Security (EHSS) programs. This role ensures compliance with all applicable regulations while promoting a strong safety culture across the organization. The position provides leadership to EHSS personnel establishes a scalable reporting structure and ensures consistent ownership of safety and security initiatives. Lead administer and improve EHSS programs and policies Establish and maintain a scalable reporting structure for safety & security Supervise and lead EHSS staff in day-to-day operations Directly oversee incident and accident investigations Ensure compliance with OSHA NFPA DOT and other regulatory requirements Lead audits inspections and facility compliance assessments Analyze safety data and trends to drive improvements Serve as advisor to leadership and employees on safety matters Participate in safety councils and pre-construction meetings Evaluate new projects for safety risks and recommend improvements Administer safety & security annual budgets Exercise authority to suspend unsafe work activities
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum 5 years EHSS experience required; leadership experience preferred Experience in utilities or construction a plus Certified Safety Professional (CSP) strongly preferred Strong leadership and team management Excellent communication and public speaking skills Ability to manage multiple priorities Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Valid drivers license required
