Hiring range: Starting at $43.45 hourly
Registered Nurses (RNs) are eligible for additional compensation based on theshifts worked.
- Weekday eveningshift- additional 10% plus $2.00 per hour
- Weekday nightshift- an additional 15% plus $3.00 per hour
- Weekend dayshift an additional 10%
- Weekend evening & nightshifts an additional 21%
The actual compensation for this position will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
Responsibilities:
- Assigns directs educates and monitors nursing and support staff during assigned Contributes to or performs performance evaluations of staff.
- Assesses daily patient care needs and develops and distributes patient care assignments ensuring that population appropriate patient care is given.
- Evaluates the effectiveness of patient care and identifies any issues that affect desired patient outcomes.
- Responds to complaints about patient care and manages through established
- May provide input for hiring training directing development and evaluating of staff.
Complexity of Work:
- Within scope of job requires critical thinking skills decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment.
Personal Protective Equipment:
- Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Required Credential(s):
- BLS Provider obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the New York Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Education:
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.
Work Experience:
- 1 year of experience required.
