Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Lead or Supervisor in a production facility
This position is responsible for maintaining high production quality and yield standards while ensuring the safest work environment possible. The role requires a strong understanding and control of the production process accurate recordkeeping and overall line maintenance and staffing.
Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing daily production orders to ensure customer fulfillment
- Ensuring all positions are staffed prior to production start-up
- Overseeing Team Member morning exercises and job rotations to support ergonomics
- Monitoring machinery performance to ensure operational efficiency
- Verifying all workstations have passed USDA inspection
- Promoting workplace safety daily and through monthly safety meetings
- Ensuring accurate shipments proper inventory rotation and correct product coding
- Communicating company benefits and compensation policies to Team Members
- Supporting Team Member engagement training retention and counseling
- Collaborating with other supervisors to resolve operational issues
- Maintaining records of reworked or returned products
- Reinforcing continuous quality education and standards
- Performing additional duties as needed
- High school diploma required
- Additional education vocational training or college coursework preferred
- Basic computer skills preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required
- Responsible for supervising a team performing related production tasks and activities
- 15 trips per year
