The Supervisor Payor Contracting is responsible for executing and coordinating payor contract negotiations renewals and amendments across contracted and commercial payors. This role ensures contract terms align with organizational strategy support patient access and maintain compliance with regulatory and payor requirements. The supervisor maintains accurate contract records monitors performance and serves as the primary resource for contract-related inquiries. Additionally this position provides guidance to staff collaborates with reimbursement finance and legal teams and drives process improvements to enhance contracting efficiency and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute and coordinate payor contract negotiations renewals and amendments in alignment with organizational strategy.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of contract terms fee schedules and performance metrics.
  • Monitor contract compliance and reimbursement performance proactively identifying discrepancies and escalating payor issues to minimize revenue risk and operational disruption.
  • Analyse contract performance data to provide actionable insights that support business objectives and inform future contract strategy.
  • Serve as subject matter expert for contract terms reimbursement methodologies and payor requirements providing guidance to internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with reimbursement finance and legal teams to ensure contract activities align with organizational goals and compliance standards.
  • Lead mentor and develop team members by establishing best practices improving operational consistency and fostering professional growth.
  • Drive process improvements to enhance contracting efficiency accuracy and compliance.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience in payor contracting managed care or insurance services including contract negotiation and administration.
  • Experience leading or mentoring staff.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in business healthcare administration or related field (may be substituted with additional relevant experience).
  • Relevant certifications (e.g. Lean Six Sigma Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality).

  • Pay Range in the United States: $103000 - $11300 based upon experience as well as an annual bonus opportunity of 7.5% of base salary. Exact compensation may vary based on skills experience and location.
