What You Will Do:
- Provide leadership and supervision to Recovery Specialists ensuring the provision of quality care that incorporates a clinical understanding of related health care issues.
- Take part in on-call rotation.
- Support the ongoing development of staff through coaching mentoring and role modeling.
- Maintain oversight of the medication room in collaboration with the program-designated nurse when applicable.
- Assist in the selection of staff and resolution of personnel issues.
- Assist in coaching and counseling of employees under the direction of the Program Director.
- Oversee client activities.
- Facilitate the efficient delivery of individual care through interdepartmental collaboration.
- Maintain verbal and written communication with staff members as appropriate.
- Recognize and adhere to regulations and requirements of licensing and funding sources.
- Question appropriateness of standards of care policies & procedures and protocols.
- Provide crisis intervention and emergency services as needed.
- Provide accurate and timely documentation.
- Attend and participate in staff meetings in-services and mandatory trainings.
Who You Are:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking skills.
- Ability to communicate directions to staff clearly and appropriately.
- Proficient with MS Office internet and email systems.
- Two years sobriety preferred.
