Supervisor I

The Role

The Operations Support Supervisor I will lead daily manufacturing operations ensuring safety quality productivity and on-time delivery. This role will supervise up to 25 hourly employees across assembly testing painting crating and warehousing while driving continuous improvement and fostering a strong team culture.

What Youll Do:

• Supervise daily production activities allocate resources and ensure production schedules are met.
• Promote a safe work environment through safety leadership audits and compliance with established procedures.
• Monitor operational performance quality metrics and productivity goals.
• Lead and develop employees through coaching training performance management and employee engagement.
• Collaborate with Quality Engineering Maintenance and Materials teams to resolve production challenges.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives including lean manufacturing kaizen and 5S activities.
• Ensure adherence to standard work quality procedures and operational processes.
• Support workforce planning scheduling and departmental performance objectives.
  

What Youll Bring:

• Bachelors degree and 6 years of applicable experience including 2 years of leadership experience; or High School Diploma and 8 years of applicable experience including 2 years of leadership experience.
• Manufacturing production operations or industrial supervision experience.
• Proven ability to lead teams manage performance and build a culture of accountability.
• Strong problem-solving decision-making and conflict-resolution skills.
• Experience driving safety quality and process improvement initiatives.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SAP or similar ERP systems

Preferred:

• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing kaizen and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience with production reporting data analysis and operational metrics.

The estimated salary range for this position is $85k to $90k base plus bonus. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors such as skills experience and work location and is not typically at the top of the range.
