Job Summary
The supervisor is responsible for the direct supervision of the work unit operations. The supervisor oversees the technical staffs functions within the lab. This may includes continuous surveillance analysis and interpretation of patients heart rhythm patterns and physiological parameters (including multi-lead ECG waveforms blood pressure ETCO2 and continuous pulse oximetry (SPO2) for both in-patients and out-patients at rest and/or during stress testing. Procedures for these functions may include 12-lead ECG acquisition overview heart rhythm monitoring holter monitoring event monitoring; interpretation of ECGs holters event monitors beta testing/research activities and CV Outreach program activities. The supervisor provides effective leadership for the day-to-day management of the work unit. The supervisor represents the department at organizational/vendor meetings and is responsible for integration of services into the organizations primary functions.

Qualifications
Requires a minimum of a bachelors degree with one year health related/clinical experience ora high school diploma and five years health related/clinical experience.
Must have demonstrated leadership communication problem solving and organizational skills. Must be able to multi-task efficiently and work independently. Masters degree preferred.
Licensure or Certification:
Basic Life Support certification is required.
Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician certification is required within 1 year of hire.
