Superintendent

Structure Tone Philadelphia part of the STO Building Group is seeking a Superintendent for our interiors projects throughout Superintendentis responsible forthetimelyand cost-effectivefieldcoordination qualitycontrolandday-to-daysupervision of subcontracted work forces for construction projects.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Prepares the project schedulemaintainsreports accurately describing project status
• Responsible for thetimelyand cost-effectivefield coordination qualitycontrolandday-to-daysupervision of subcontracted work forces for construction projects
• Reviews status and project progress with the Project Manager and client representatives on a regular basis. Large projects include multiple Superintendents.
• Ensuressafety standards and requirements are implemented and adhered to by craftsmen and others whenoperatingtools and equipment.
• Directs sub-contractor activities within ground up construction projects
• Analyzesmanpower material equipment requirements andinterfaces the requirements withothers asdesignatedby supervising superintendent.
• Implements and enforces policies procedures and related work rules asestablishedby field construction Management
• Prepares reports and forecasts asrequired and keeps supervisors informed on progress of overall assigned activities
• Ensures safety standards and requirements are implemented and adhered to by craftsmen and others when in the operational area tools and equipment are in safe condition andoperatedsafely.
• Coordination of Lock-out Tag-out with responsible subcontractors of utilities such as Nitrogen Vacuum Compressed Air RODI and Steam
• Manage QA/QC and understanding of client engineering specifications or requirements.

Qualifications:

• 5 years of field experience.
• Experience should include some supervisory responsibility as a General Foreman FieldEngineeror Assistant Superintendent.
• Well-developedcommunications interpersonalorganizationalandteamworkskills arerequired.
