Job Summary
Reports To: Media Services Coordinator
Qualifications:
- Preference given to students attending Topeka Public Schools
Physical/Emotional Requirements: (The incumbent may be required to use the below abilities during any part of the working day.)
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to climb or balance; stoop kneel crouch or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand walk sit and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to use hands to finger handle or feel objects tools or controls. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
Performance Responsibilities:
Assist with school library media center projects:
- Sorting shelving moving books and other materials
- Lifting and carrying small furniture items
- Cleaning and labeling library books
- Cleaning library shelving and the library space in general
Related duties as assigned
Terms of Employment:
Position will be needed from Thrusday May 28th through the end of July; 6 hours per day
Hourly rate: $12/hour
