Job Summary
Behavioral Health Network (BHN) is the largest provider of behavioral health services in Western Massachusetts and a Certified Great Place to Springfield youll gain hands-on experience while receiving top-notch training supervision and mentorship.
What Youll Do:
As an Intern youll work in a dynamic outpatient environment providing individual family couple and group therapy while collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial assessments and provide evidence-based psychotherapy and social-emotional skills training
- Develop collaborative treatment plans and measure progress toward client goals
- Participate in clinical team meetings supervision and continuing education
- Provide care in various settings including in-person telehealth and outreach within the community
- Learn about and implement evidence-based practices while delivering client-centered services

What Youll Bring:
- Interest in Clinical/Counseling Psychology Mental Health Counseling or mental health field (required)
- Experience working with children adolescents or adults (preferred)
- Familiarity with PC/Windows computers Microsoft Office programs and email systems (required)
- Willingness to work on-site in Springfield at least 20% of the time (required)
- Team-based and goal-directed approach to client care (preferred)
- Knowledge of mental health diagnoses and evidence-based treatment techniques (preferred)
