Job Description
The Project Management Intern supports Creative Design business operations financial activities and construction project management while gaining practical experience across multiple functions. Working under the guidance of finance operations and project professionals the intern will assist with construction project management track project information and help coordinate communication and documentation among internal teams contractors and other stakeholders. The intern will also work with creative staff to assist with design project management and studio logistics.
The team supports design business operations finance construction project management and studio logistics. This role works with finance business operations project teams creative staff contractors vendors and other stakeholders.
Assist with accounts payable accounts receivable invoices purchase orders expense records and transaction processing.
Prepare monthly financial reports project schedules status summaries meeting materials and presentations.
Track construction project documentation milestones budgets action items change requests and deliverables.
Serve as a liaison among finance business operations project teams contractors vendors and other stakeholders by coordinating information and follow-up activities.
Organize contracts invoices drawings meeting notes supporting records and other project documentation.
Review information for completeness and accuracy while following internal controls safety expectations and company procedures.
Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in business accounting finance construction management project management or a related field.
Must be graduating between December 2027 and May 2028.
Able to work fulltime 40 hours per week during the summer months.
Basic understanding of business operations accounting principles financial transactions or construction project processes through coursework or work experience.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel including data entry formatting and basic formulas.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
Understanding of and ability to read and retrieve construction drawings and documentation.
Strong attention to detail organization time management and accuracy.
Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Ability to manage multiple assignments meet deadlines and learn new systems and processes.

This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Pasadena Design Studio on a full-time basis.
GM will provide a one-time lump sum taxable stipend payment to eligible students selected for the 2027 Student Program - to help facilitate administration of relocation benefits please apply using the permanent address you would move from.

Start dates for this internship role are May & June of 2027.
Compensation:
The salary for this role is $6100 monthly.
