ELK GROVE UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICTCLASS TITLE: YARD SUPERVISORBASIC FUNCTION:Under the direction of an assigned supervisor monitor students in the cafeteria playground areas restrooms and other areas of an assigned elementary FUNCTIONS:Monitor students in the cafeteria playground areas restrooms and other areas of an assigned elementary school; assure student behavior complies with District rules and in resolving minor student conflicts on the unauthorized activities and unauthorized visitors to appropriate students arrive to class in a timely manner; collect equipment left in playground areas by related duties as KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:KNOWLEDGE OF:Principles and practices of monitoring student and written communication laws codes regulations policies and skills using tact patience and and safety TO:Monitor students in the cafeteria playground areas restrooms and other areas of an assigned elementary effectively both orally and in and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with District organization operations policies and health and safety and follow oral and written consistent punctual and regular and speak to exchange for extended periods of to monitor student AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Any combination equivalent to: sufficient training and experience to demonstrate the knowledge and abilities listed CONDITIONS:ENVIRONMENT:Indoor and outdoor environment.
