Substitute Teachers 2026-2027 (Transitional Kindergarten 8th Grade)

JOB DESCRIPTION:To teach a group of students on a temporary basis while the resident teacher is absent in accordance with the goals and directives of the resident teacher school and :Credential and/or License: Appropriate California teaching :Demonstrated success in working with children in the K-8 age and Abilities: ability to follow oral and written ability to demonstrate effective classroom management strategies. ability to follow the resident teachers lesson ability to address students various learning ability to create and maintain a climate of respect and fairness for all students. ability to demonstrate fair and ethical RESPONSIBILITIES: at the assigned school at least 20 minutes prior to the start of the school to the site principal or school out the duties assigned to the resident the teachers lesson plans as well as the classroom and school-wide behavioral when possible work done by students during the to the CUSD and school policies/ adequate supervision to assure health welfare and safety of all students. and respect the confidentiality of student and school personnel with the resident teacher concerning the experience of the out at the school office at the end of the TO:Site Principal.
