No teaching certification is required. If you have a High School Diploma Associates Degree or 60 College Credit Hours you may already qualify.

As a Substitute Teacher you will help maintain a positive learning environment when regular teachers are absent by following lesson plans managing classroom behavior and supporting student engagement.

• Deliver classroom instruction using lesson plans provided by the teacher

• Supervise students during lunch recess and transitions

• Assign and review classwork and homework

• Record attendance and communicate concerns to school staff

• Support school staff in maintaining a safe and productive classroom

For long-term assignments substitutes may also develop and deliver lesson plans aligned with the school curriculum.

Availability: Monday through Friday

Full Day: 7:00 AM 4:00 PM

Half Day:

• 7:00 AM 12:00 PM

• 12:00 PM 4:00 PM
