Must provide the following:-Verification of clearance with BCOE Clearinghouse-Substitute 30-Day Permit or other CA teaching credential-Completed EdJoin Application-CBEST verification or equivalent-Verification of TB clearance
If you have not cleared through the BCOE Clearinghouse you may complete the Substitute Interest form at Walk-ins are not accepted. We will reach out to you once verification of all required application materials including the EdJoin application are received. The Certificated Substitute rate is as follows:Regular day-to-day subbing: $28.57 hourly (working a full 7-hour day is $199.99) Long-term subbing (21 consecutive work days in the same assignment/classroom): $32.14 hourly (working a full 7-hour day is $224.98). Please note that if you do not meet the 21-consecutive day requirement pay will revert back to the regular day-to-day subbing rate.
