Substitute Teacher AssistantSupport Staff

Expectations/Duties:Support the mission vision and values of Cornerstone Christian School through daily interactions with students families staff and maintain a safe orderly and positive learning environment throughout the school teachers in and out of the classroom setting as classroom instruction by assisting individual students small groups and classroom activities under the direction of the prepare instructional materials organize classroom resources and assist with other classroom support tasks as students during arrival lunch recess passing periods dismissal classroom activities and other assigned times to ensure compliance with school rules behavioral expectations and safety classrooms school grounds hallways restrooms playgrounds and parking lots as assigned to maintain a safe orderly and positive environment for students and with student behavior management by reinforcing expectations intervening in minor conflicts and referring concerns to appropriate school personnel as positive relationships with students staff and parents to foster a safe welcoming and Christ-centered school emergency procedures including fire drills lockdowns evacuations and other safety protocols responding appropriately in accordance with school safety concerns suspicious activities injuries student welfare concerns or disciplinary issues to school administrators in a timely supervision and support during school events assemblies chapel services extracurricular activities athletic events field trips and other school functions as in enforcing school policies related to student conduct dress code attendance procedures campus boundaries and visitor students to and from designated areas when
