Substitute Teacher 2026-2027

Substitute pay is calculated on the number of periods of student contact. This includes periods during which courses are taught and supervision is assigned but does not include planning or lunch periods. A typical teacher schedule includes 5 course periods and 1 assigned supervision totalling 6 periods of student contact during the 9-period school day. This breaks down to $25.06 per period. Assignments that are less than or more than the typical 6 student contact periods will be paid accordingly at the same per-period rate. This position is not eligible for medical benefits; the District will pay 1/2 of TRS deductions.
