Job Summary
Under general supervision to operate a school bus or transportation vehicle over designated routes within an established time schedule;to transport special education students to and from school;to perform daily inspections of a bus or transportation equipment;and to do other related work as required.
Education: Education equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade. Possession of a valid Class B Motor Vehicle Operators License and a School Bus Drivers Certificate with medical certificate issued by the California Highway Patrol including passage of a first aid : One year of experience in the transportation of school children preferred or the completion of a school bus driver training following documents must be uploaded via EDJOIN in order to be considered in the hiring process: Class B Motor Vehicle Operators License and a School Bus Drivers Certificate with medical certificate issued by the California Highway Patrol including passage of a first aid any documents that you feel will help demonstrate that you meet the minimum qualifications listed above (i.e. resume transcript diploma). A scanner to upload required documents is available in the Human Resources office located at 1330 Truxtun Ave. Bakersfield CA documents will be scanned and emailed to the candidate.
