Job Summary

Requirements / Qualifications

The Vacancy: The list established from this recruitment will be used to fill future part-time and full-time vacancies and substitute/temporary positions for up to six Position: Under supervision of the Director of Student Services the substitute Occupational Therapist will provide treatment for identified students in need of occupational therapy in accordance with the students Individualized Education Program (IEP). This position determines needs designs treatment plans and monitors progress in accordance with laws regulations and District policies. Incumbents work under the general direction of the Special Education Administrator in developing and providing services for individual students to improve their academic performance.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Degree from an accredited university; registration with the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy; a valid California drivers license and a valid First Aid/CPR training certificate. Experience providing occupational therapy services to children of various ages and experience working as part of an educational team is following must be submitted with the edjoin application:

  • Letter(s) of Recommendation (Three no older than a year one from current employer signed and dated)
