Under general supervision this journey-level technical instructional assistant position translates conversation and provides intensified learning experience for students who are deaf or hard of hearing; and performs a variety of clerical and supportive tasks for teachers and students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
MUST ATTACH PROOF OF:- Passing the CBEST or - Having completed two years of college (48 units) or - An AA degree or higher or - Must have passed the District proficiency exam in mathematics reading and writing prior to the job posting closing date if you are using this for education requirements.-Must have Certification by the Registry of Interpreters of the Deaf (RID) or equivalent.
