Job Summary
SUMMARY: Works directly with an assigned classroom teacher(s) to assist in the Special Education instructional program.
QUALIFICATIONS:-High school diploma or equivalent two years of college OR-High school diploma or equivalent AA degree or higher OR-High school diploma or equivalent have a passing score of 70% on the District academic proficiency test-Knowledge of English grammar and punctuation-Bilingual-biliterate English/Spanish desirable-Experience working with students in a school or recreational setting desirable-Experience working with students with special needs is desirable-Experience working with parents desirable
APPLICATION PROCESS:-Résumé-Two letters of recommendation (letters must be signed and dated within one (1) year)-Upload unofficial transcripts sealed transcripts will be required at the time of hire-First Aid/ CPR Certifications will be required within 90 days of hiring -Proof of completion of Mandated Reporter Training (Personnel Training AB1432) due at time of hiring.
