Job Summary
Under general supervision the Instructional Aide I Special Education will perform a variety of follow-up instructional activities;assist in the conducting of training and learning activities with children experiencing special learning needs;perform a variety of routine clerical and supportive activities for instructional personnel;do other related work as required.
REQUIREMENTS:Education: Education equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade preferably with training or coursework in child growth and development special education instructional technology or closely related submit proof of passage of the Basic Proficiency Test if high school graduation is prior to 1981 or high school diploma is not issued by the state of : Six months of paid work experience in a classroom or program for individuals with special year of paid or volunteer experience working with children of various age levels requiring a specialized learning following additional documents must be uploaded via EDJOIN by the filing deadline in order to be considered in the hiring process (pertains to current employees also):Proof of education (i.e. high school diploma college transcripts copy of college diploma)A scanner to upload required documents is available in the Human Resources office located at 1330 Truxtun Ave..
