Administer developmental assessments; plan curriculum for students; plan activities; prepare materials for students and parents;2. Make referrals to appropriate services based on family needs;3. Assist in the preparation of teaching materials and learning activities;4. Complete documents required for program activities in a timely manner;5. Assist in maintaining a neat orderly and attractive learning environment;6. Assist with parent contacts by telephone or in person serving as an interpreter as required;7. Operate various office equipment (typewriter computer copy machine etc.); and8. Meet regularly with teachers and/or certificated support staff to plan program activities and review materials and assignments;9. Assure the health and safety of students by following established practices and procedures;10. Communicate with collaborating agencies district personnel parents students and the public to exchange information and resolve issues or concerns; speak translate into the primary language;11. Attend and participate in State Preschool staff meetings; attend various in-service meetings as assigned.
