Education: Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth gradeAbility: Drive a school bus and other transportation equipment safely and efficiently exercising sound judgment and extreme caution; maintain proper and positive control of student behavior on a school bus; keep records and prepare reports; understand and follow oral and written directions; be courteous neat and clean at all : Safe driving and defensive driving practices and techniques; California Motor Vehicle Code and Education Code applicable to the operation of school buses and pupil transportation; effective communication skills; pupil management / QUALIFICATIONS:MUST BE A CURRENT CALIFORNIA STATE CERTIFIED SCHOOL BUS DRIVER OR MUST HAVE COMPLETED THE CALIFORNIA SCHOOL BUS DRIVERS TRAINING PROGRAM** If you are not a current California State Certified School Bus Driver please email to inquire about taking the next School Bus Driver Original Training Program. Include your contact information; full name phone number and email POSSESS THE FOLLOWING CURRENT CREDENTIALS AND ATTACH ALL CREDENTIALS TO YOUR APPLICATION:** California Commercial Driver License Class A or Class B (with P and S endorsements)** California Special Driver Certificate Valid for School Bus Operation. Must not have Restrictions 2 3 4 and 5.
