Substitute Administrator 2026-2027

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Previous service in an Administrator role (Principal Assistant Principal Counselor etc.) required. (Former Cy Fair Administrator experience preferred.)
2. Masters degree from a recognized accredited college or university required;
3. Valid appropriate standard administrator certification for the assignment; Instructional Leadership Development; certified training for teacher appraisal or eligible for such preferred;
4. A minimum of four (4) years of successful experience as a classroom teacher; and
5. Visionary leadership in administration to work with faculties families and communities of the 21st century.
6. Strong organizational communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to speak read and understand the English language.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

Substitutes are employed on an at-will basis and are not considered contractual employees.

SALARY:

$200/day - $350/day depending on assignment

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Provide temporary coverage in an administrator position (Principal Assistant Principal Counselor etc.).
2. Responsible for implementing the Districts instructional program and educational philosophy in the subject area or grade level designated in accordance with district policies and procedures on a day to day basis.
3. Regular and reliable attendance is an essential job function.

Maintain emotional control under stress. Frequent standing stooping bending pulling and pushing. Move small stacks of textbooks media equipment desks and other classroom equipment.
