What Youll Do

As Substation Engineering Manager youll play a key role in both project delivery and business growth by:

• Leading mentoring and developing a team of substation engineers
• Building strong relationships with utility renewable energy and industrial clients
• Supporting the successful delivery of substation projects from planning and design through construction support
• Providing technical oversight and QA/QC
• Partnering with regional leadership to grow the business and identify new opportunities
• Helping drive technical excellence quality safety and innovation across projects
• Leading recruitment career development and team engagement initiatives
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across AECOMs Energy practice

Qualifications :

Minimum Qualifications:

• BS/BA 12 years of related experience with at least 4 years of experience acting in a leadership or practice-building capacity or demonstrated equivalency of experience/education
• PE
• Due to the nature of the work U.S. citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in substation engineering
• A passion for developing people and building strong teams
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Experience managing projects clients and technical teams
• A commitment to quality safety and client success
• PE in multiple states
