Salaried: $79040- $85280 (depending on experience)
Equivalent Hourly: $38- $41
Shift: Full-Time
Schedule: Days flexibility required

Seneca Health Care Center is looking to temporarily add a Subacute Coordinator- RN to its nursing leadership this role youll oversee the daily operations of an assigned nursing unit ensuring high-quality resident care staff supervision regulatory compliance and exceptional customer service. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Direct coordinate and supervise the activities of nursing staff on an assigned unit
• Assume responsibility and accountability for the overall management of resident care within the unit
• Monitor resident conditions and ensure care plans are developed maintained and updated as needed
• Collaborate with physicians interdisciplinary team members residents and families to support quality care outcomes
• Communicate staff concerns and operational issues to appropriate department leaders
• Ensure compliance with facility policies state and federal regulations and nursing standards of practice
• Support staff development coaching performance management and team engagement
• Assist with admissions discharges family communication and resident care coordination
• Promote a safe positive and resident-centered environment
• Perform additional duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree from an accredited School of Nursing
• Current and valid New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License required
• Minimum of one year of experience in nursing service administration required
• Additional experience in rehabilitative or geriatric nursing preferred
• Strong knowledge of state federal and local long-term care regulations
• Excellent leadership communication and organizational skills
• Strong customer service skills and a compassionate approach to resident care
• Must be flexible dependable professional and able to manage multiple priorities
