Salaried: $79040- $85280 (depending on experience)
Equivalent Hourly: $38- $41
Shift: Full-Time
Schedule: Days flexibility required
Seneca Health Care Center is looking to temporarily add a Subacute Coordinator- RN to its nursing leadership this role youll oversee the daily operations of an assigned nursing unit ensuring high-quality resident care staff supervision regulatory compliance and exceptional customer service. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Direct coordinate and supervise the activities of nursing staff on an assigned unit
- Assume responsibility and accountability for the overall management of resident care within the unit
- Monitor resident conditions and ensure care plans are developed maintained and updated as needed
- Collaborate with physicians interdisciplinary team members residents and families to support quality care outcomes
- Communicate staff concerns and operational issues to appropriate department leaders
- Ensure compliance with facility policies state and federal regulations and nursing standards of practice
- Support staff development coaching performance management and team engagement
- Assist with admissions discharges family communication and resident care coordination
- Promote a safe positive and resident-centered environment
- Perform additional duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree from an accredited School of Nursing
- Current and valid New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License required
- Minimum of one year of experience in nursing service administration required
- Additional experience in rehabilitative or geriatric nursing preferred
- Strong knowledge of state federal and local long-term care regulations
- Excellent leadership communication and organizational skills
- Strong customer service skills and a compassionate approach to resident care
- Must be flexible dependable professional and able to manage multiple priorities
