Job Description Summary
The Musco Center Usher supports front-of-house operations by providing excellent customer service to patrons visiting artists and guests. Responsibilities include greeting and assisting attendees directing patrons throughout the venue supporting event operations monitoring audience safety and comfort and helping ensure a positive and professional theater experience.
Responsibilities
Greet and assist patrons visiting artists and guests in a friendly and professional manner. Direct patrons to seating areas venue locations and lobby facilities. Distribute programs and provide general event information. Serve as a door attendant and assist with audience management. Monitor lobby areas and restrooms before during and after performances. Help maintain a safe welcoming and accessible environment for all guests. Communicate crowd control concerns accidents emergencies or unusual situations to supervisors. Assist with facility opening and securing the building at the conclusion of events. Provide excellent customer service and represent the Musco Center professionally at all times. Perform other event-related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Excellent verbal communication skills. Ability to interact professionally and courteously with patrons guests and event staff. Ability to follow directions and respond appropriately in a fast-paced environment. Dependable punctual and professional. Ability to remain attentive and responsive during performances and events. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and event needs.
