Position SummaryReds Shift Supervisor works closely with the student staff to facilitate the nightly operation of Reds Pub. The Reds Shift Supervisor must have working knowledge of and enforce all Student Union University and State Policies procedures and laws. This role will involve significant interaction with all University community members including students faculty staff and University guests. Principal Duties & ResponsibilitiesSupervise the Nightly operation of Reds Pub:Ensure that all Student Union University and State policies and procedures are the weekly scheduling of Reds Pub staff in conjunction with the Student Reds Pub & product and in the coordination of training for all SUM and Pub staff membersContribute to innovation of Pub facilities operations and programmingPromote staff morale and team dynamicsAssist in the promotion and programming of the PubProperly handle all Money and Sales receipts for the duties and responsibilities as Skills Abilities & Other AttributesPossess knowledge of state lawsBe responsible and professional individualBe positive and resourcefulPossess strong verbal and writing skillsBe creative innovative and detail-orientedUnderstand what it means to provide quality customer servicePossess strong managerial skillsHave previous restaurant experience (preferred but not required)Be willing to be a member of an energetic teamUnusual Working ConditionsThe Shift Supervisor will work from 4 pm until 12 am Monday through Thursday. The work location is Reds.
