Job Summary
There are multiple openings located at various schools throughout the district. Student Supervision Assistant positions can range from 30 minutes 55 minutes 90 minutes 110 minutes or 2 hours and 30 minutes per recruitment will be used to fill regular and substitute assignments. Applications are processed to establish a list of eligible candidates by school site or by desire to be a FUNCTION:Under the direction of an assigned Principal or designee assist in the supervision of students in all areas of the school campus including the cafeteria multipurpose room playgrounds parking lots bus unloading/loading zones and areas adjacent to the school to provide for the safety and well-being of students. Incumbents do not report to a classroom teacher and do not provide academic supportive functions but are instead primarily responsible for supervising students behavior and ensuring students QUALIFICATIONS:EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Any combination equivalent to: sufficient training and experience to demonstrate the knowledge and abilities listed above. Graduation from high school or its equivalency and six months of experience in supervising or working with school age students in an organized setting is desirable. LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:None.
