Job Summary

Pay Range:Target Salary of $10.00/hour based on education and experience.

Benefits Eligible: No

Work Schedule:Monday Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

  • Approximately 1020 hours per week Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
  • The supervisor will work with each student employee to establish a schedule that accommodates their class schedule.

Travel:Not required

Position Introduction:

The Student Office Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the Dodge Family College of Arts and Sciences Deans Office. This position offers students an opportunity to gain professional office experience while assisting with the day-to-day operations activities and events of the Deans Office.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide general administrative and operational support to the Deans Office.
  • Assist with routine administrative tasks including copying data entry filing creating and organizing folders checking and maintaining office resources and keeping shared workspaces clean and organized.
  • Assist with the setup breakdown and cleanup of meetings events and other College activities.
  • Assist with the setup organization and storage of office and event equipment and materials.
  • Run occasional campus errands related to Deans Office and College operations.
  • Provide courteous and professional assistance to faculty staff students and visitors.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience:

Must be currently enrolled in the Fall Term as a student at the University of Oklahoma.

Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.
