Provides under the direction of a registered nurse those aspects of patient care which have been previously learned/demonstrated in the nursing program in which enrolled. Provides a caring relationship that facilitates health and healing. Performs other duties as assigned. |

Administers medication as ordered according to policy and procedures under the direct supervision of the registered nurse. | ||
Reinforces the health/teaching/education of individuals and groups of patients under the direction of the registered nurse. | ||
Participates in activities to improve health care delivery under the direction of the registered nurse. | ||
Builds knowledge and experience base regarding clinical leadership. | ||
Supports lifelong learning. |
Specifications
Experience
Enrolled in an approved IHL apprenticeship nursing program preparing for RN licensure. Completion of Nurse Extern program. |
