Job Summary

Job Title:	Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst Intern
Department:	ITS Information Security
Student Employment Type:	Federal Work-Study
Responsibilities:	Monitor security alerts identify and report potential security incidents Investigate incidents assist in investigating security events Phishing detection and response - assist in identifying and responding to phishing attempts Learn and operate security tools - assist in configuring and utilizing various SOC tools including SIEM SOAR firewalls vulnerability scanners honeypots etc.
Qualifications:	Interest in cybersecurity Possesses a positive attitude Exhibits professionalism in all interactions
Hours of Position:	Five hours per day three days per week. Subject to change based on interns class schedule
