- Temporary hourly-intermittent student assistant position(s) available in the Undergraduate Advising department.
- Start Date
- Positionavailable on or after November 1 2026and ending on or before May 21 2027. Possibility of reappointment based on budget department needs and job performance.
- Job Description/Duties
- Duties include but are not limited to:
- Assist with front desk coverage for both Career Services and Undergraduate Advising including greeting and assisting students faculty staff and other guests.
- Check the main phone line voicemail and forward messages as appropriate. Respond to emails phone call in a professional and timely manner.
- Actively and regularly communicate with suite staff using email and Teams.
- Check students in for appointments.
- Develop and maintain proficiency in the use of EAB/Warrior Connect to support students staff and faculty.
- Assist students with scheduling appointments through Warrior Connect.
- Become familiar with Career Services and Undergraduate Advising Programs services resources policies and procedures to provide accurate information and appropriate referrals.
- Assist with preparing materials for workshops advising events orientations and outreach activities.
- Provide support during Undergraduate Advising Programs Career Fairs networking events and other campus events as assigned.
- Provide workshop and event support including setup check-in and participant assistance as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Qualifications
- Required Qualifications:
- Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
- Must have received and accepted Financial Aid award for the current semester/year in which you are applying.
- Salary Range
- $16.90per hour.
