Student Assistant Civil Engineering #

SUMMARY: currently searching for one Part-Time structural engineering student assistant to work on structural models under the supervision of Dr. Sunai Kim.

SOME OF THE THINGS THAT YOU WILL GET TO DO (this is just a small sampling of work variety):

The part-time student assistant will assist in building structural models to aid in students understanding of fundamental engineering concepts.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Must be self-sufficient and proactive in creating and testing the structural models

Communicate clearly on the materials needed

Provide technical support with accuracy and timeliness

Excellent communication skills (in-person Zoom) with prompt responses to emails

Must demonstrate honesty and detailed book-keeping for hours worked

Demonstrate responsibility helpfulness and professionalism for the tasks given to be able to complete them independently

Ability to work well with various people including students faculty and staff

Be motivated punctual and show initiative

Preferred

Excellent communication skills knowledge of university paperwork processes.
