Position Summary:

The D11 Student Apprentice is a paid student employee who may be connected to a Career & Technical Education (CTE) program and supports students staff schools and programs throughout District 11.
The apprenticeship provides students with the opportunity to apply skills learned through their CTE program or other coursework while gaining real-world work experience developing technical and employability skills and contributing to their school and district community.
Student Apprentices commit to approximately 2000 hours of paid on-the-job learning over two years. Apprentices may be assigned to a school classroom district department or CTE program based on program needs and the students career pathway interests and skills.

Working Conditions:
Assignments may occur in school office outdoor or event settings and may include varied schedules.
