Job Summary
The Student Academic School Support Specialist provides targeted academic behavioral and social-emotional support to students in a elementary school setting. This role works closely with teachers instructional aides and school administrators to reinforce classroom instruction support small-group or one-on-one learning activities and help maintain a positive productive learning environment. The specialist supports students both in the classroom and in designated intervention spaces fostering skills that promote academic growth self-confidence and positive peer interactions.
Requires passing a District exam or an AA degree or at least 48-semester units and passing a Livescan TB clearance and CPR Certification.
