Stuctural Welder

• Read and interpret blueprints/prints and accurately lay out all required specifications
• Cut prep and fit all materials required for assigned jobs
• Weld out fitted materials to complete finished assemblies
• Make real-time adjustments to fabrication processes as issues or discrepancies arise
• Work with steel siding and R-Panel materials in the construction of meter houses
• Maintain quality and consistency across all welds and fabricated components
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively when problems come up in fabrication

• Ability to read and layout from prints/blueprints translating specs accurately to material
• Must be able to pass a 3G Plate Test (MIG/Flux Combo Weld on 3/4 plate without run-off tabs)
• Proven ability to cut prep fit and weld materials independently from start to finish
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think on your feet and adapt during fabrication
• Comfortable making adjustments on the fly to meet spec and quality requirements
• Prior experience working with steel siding/R-Panel systems
• Experience in meter house fabrication or similar structural/sheet metal production environments
• Willingness and initiative to learn and excel in R-Panel processes if not already experienced
