Structural Welder

We are now accepting applications/resumes forEXPERIENCED Structural Welders for the Jeanerette LAand surroundingarea. This is not an entry-level position and candidate should have a solid understanding of some of the following:

• Must be able weld 3G/4G
• Experience withFLUXCOREwelding
• Scope of Work: Repair and Maintenance
• Required Skills:
  • Reading blueprints and drawings and taking measurements to plan layout and procedures
  • Ability employ their knowledge of metallurgy and geometry to provide welding solutions and recommendations
  • Ability to set up evaluate and operate various welding equipment and tools
  • Determining the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements
  • Setting up components for welding according to specifications
• Physical Requirements:
  • Must be comfortable working at differentheights
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 LBS
  • Must be able to stand bend stoop squat or kneel regularly as well as climb stairs and ladders to complete tasks.
• Ability to use hand tools to achieve proper surface texture
• Read and interpret project plans blueprints and other written instructions and diagrams to perform task at hand
• Select proper fillers for jobs based on previous experience or project instructions
• Coordinate with field labor crew for efficient installations
• Conserve resources whenever possible to ensure budgetary integrity and client satisfaction
• Must have own PPE (Hard hat steel toes safety glasses gloves) welding hood welding shirts and welding gloves
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be able to pass drug screen
• Pay:

  • Pay Schedule: Monday - Sunday
• Schedule:
  • 10-12 Hour Days
  • Monday - Friday
  • Weekends (as needed)
• Duration of Job:Approximately4Months
