Ensure all inspection records eIRs ERs and audit findings are complete accurate and traceable to the appropriate controlled documents. Approve inspection plans and work instructions. Define inspection scope acceptance criteria and verification methods for new designs and major modifications. Interpret engineering drawings specifications and technical data packages; verify compliance with non-nuclear or other regulated standards. Review work orders engineering drawings and specifications; clarify inspection requirements with engineering or production personnel when needed. Maintain measurement tools (e.g. calipers micrometers gauges and rulers) to ensure accuracy. Identify quality issues suggest process improvements and participate in rootcause analysis or correctiveaction. Follow all safety protocols and when applicable maintain required security clearances for handling classified or sensitive material. Conduct visual dimensional functional of parts assemblies or workinprocess items according to approved procedures drawings and specifications. Record inspection results in inspection reports data sheets or electronic quality systems; note any nonconformances deviations or trends. Review work orders engineering drawings and specifications; clarify inspection requirements with engineering or production personnel when detailed inspection reports eIRs and and update inspection procedures work instructions and checklists; ensure they reflect current best practices and regulatory rootcause investigations for recurring defects; develop and verify correctiveaction plans (CAPA).Track closure of IRs eIRs and effectiveness of corrective actions before Quality InspectorII-III personnel; conduct briefings and onthejob trends in inspection data; propose process changes workinstruction updates or automation be able to perform inspections in any to work independently while collaborating with engineers production staff and management. - Construction Carpentry fabrication and interpreting blue prints
- X11 (Fitters) X18 (Welders) X32 (Sheet Metal) Trade experience.
- Must be able to read drawings rulers and procedures fluently.
- Able to climb into tanks and other confined spaces and traverse ladders and other staging obstacles.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with engineers production staff and management.
- Good problem-solving skills and good attention to detail.
