Structural Forensic Engineer

• Conduct forensic investigations involving structural failures and property damage.
• Evaluate roofing systems foundation settlement retaining walls water intrusion structural distress and sinkhole-related damage.
• Perform field inspections analyze findings and prepare comprehensive engineering reports.
• Provide expert opinions and technical recommendations for clients and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with insurance carriers attorneys property owners and consultants.
• Maintain and develop client relationships to support business growth.
• Participate in networking events industry conferences and marketing initiatives.

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required; Tennessee PE preferred.
• Additional state PE licenses are highly desirable.
• Extensive experience in forensic engineering and insurance-related investigations.
• Strong technical report writing analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Proven client management and relationship-building abilities.

• Property & Casualty insurance claim investigations.
• Structural damage assessments and failure analysis.
• Roofing and building envelope evaluations.
• Foundation settlement and retaining wall investigations.
• Water infiltration and moisture-related damage assessments.
• Sinkhole and geotechnical-related structural evaluations.
• Business development or seller-doer experience.
