Structural Drafter (3+ years)

Coffman Engineers is seeking a Structural CAD Drafter/Designer for our Portland office. The successful candidate will assist in creating drawings and project documents from information provided by engineers using various computer-aided design (CAD) and building information modeling (BIM) platforms such as AutoCAD Revit etc.  They will be responsible for independently completing design and drafting assignments ensuring a high level of quality and on-time delivery.

Qualifications :

• 3 or more years experience in drafting and design (experience in structural buildings and framing preferred).
• Technical or associate degree in engineering or related sciences preferred.
• Posses advanced CAD layout and BIM skills.
• Experienced with the latest release of AutoCAD and REVIT design tools.
• Possess computer skills necessary for daily activities including email word processing spreadsheets BlueBeam and graphics.
• Able to work with numerous project teams to help with project completion.
• Works from detailed sketches to produce computer-generated graphs charts overlays and simple isometric drawings.
