The Miami FL office of Modjeski and Masters Inc. is seeking Structural Bridge Design Engineers with experience in Bridge Design

What Were Looking For

  • Registered PE in the State of Florida
  • 15 related years of related Bridge design experience preferably in Florida.
  • A minimum of a BS degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET accredited college or university
    • MS preferred
  • Experience in pursuing and managing multi-discipline projects including projects with bridge replacement new bridge alignment or bridge rehabilitation.
  • Client Relationships with FDOT District Four and FDOT District Six.
  • Ability to work in a team environment on related projects.
  • Good oral and written communications skills with a fluency in English

What Youll Do

  • Lead and manage the planning design and delivery of bridge projects from concept through construction.
  • Mentor and develop junior engineers promoting a culture of collaboration and growth.
  • Prepare proposals and marketing presentations.
  • Pursue and win projects with FDOT and local agency clients
  • Manage multiple projects.
  • Oversee and coordinate project teams ensuring work is completed on schedule within budget and in accordance with design standards.
  • Serve as the primary client contact fostering strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Provide technical oversight and quality assurance for bridge designs.
  • Maintain strong client relationships
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
