Job role:
On-site role at WHQ; typical work hours WFH Fridays
Minimum undergrad degree required
10 years experience in a strategic planning role
Top must-have skills include the following:
Strategic planning/thinking/forecasting
Project management
High impact written communication.
Desired soft skills:
Ability to build relationships quickly
Ability to navigate executive stakeholders
Bias for action
Previous Client experience HIGHLY preferred due to short engagement length; those candidates will be prioritized
Otherwise experience in the apparel industry will be preferred
Reponsibilities:
- The nature of the work is focused on short-term or long-term business direction goals processes and purchases.
General Analysis:
- Develops strategic plan(s) to ensure the continued successful growth and profitability.
- Conducts environmental scans organizational positioning analyses and other studies. Identifies investigates evaluates and negotiates acquisitions/divestit res licensing opportunities and strategic business alliances that are in line with the organizations long-range goals.
Strategic Business Planning Process:
- Drive a planning process in which all gates and dates are clearly understood and that result in all Corporate planning deliverables being met.
- Monitor factors that would indicate the need for redirection of strategy.
Measurement:
- Lead the process of developing strategic initiatives and objectives for the current year and the 3year Strategic Plan at the Regional Level and work with business units/functions to ensure objectives are aligned and integrated
- Identify relevant measures and drive accountability for ongoing performance against business and strategic objectives by preparing for and help leading Quarterly Business Review process.
Qualification:
- Typically requires a Bachelors Degree and minimum of 10 years directly relevant experience; experience should include comprehensive experience as a business/process leader or industry expert Note: One of the following alternatives may be accepted: - PhD or Law 8 yrs; Masters 9 yrs; Associates degree 11 yrs; High School 12 yrs.
