We are seeking a Storeroom Supervisor for our First Quality Tissue SE LLC located in Anderson SC. This position will be responsible for supervisingdirectingand coordinating the training and work of all the Storeroom personnel whomaintainparts and materials for operation of the facility. Prepares work schedules assignsworkand oversees the progress of work assignments. Maintainsa high levelof inventory accuracyutilizingcomputer-basedparts and continuously improves KPIs and workprocesses.
Primary responsibilities include:
Promotes anaction-orientedsafety culture embracing safety as a core valueinstillingand exemplifying a safety mindset for all team members resulting in an incident free workplace throughmaintainingindividual accountability positive reinforcement of safe behavior and managing accountability of related systems.
Supervises directscoordinatesand trains all Storeroom Personnel:
Proactively andregularly developsand manages team members performance and capabilities
Secure andallocateresources appropriately to meet the needs of the operation including scheduling of crews and managing absences
Shares knowledge with team members to promote a high skill level in the group
Performs inventory control functionsutilizingmaterial management best practices:
Maintainsaccurateinventory levels by performing cycle counts
Monitors and adjust ROP and Max inventory levels based on historical usage data
Performs periodic review of inactive items for obsolescence
Verifies quantities and descriptions of materials received and issued
Monitor KPIs anddevelop/implement strategiesto ensuregoalsare met or exceeded
Developsmaintains and continuously improvesStoreroom specific policies & procedures.
Ensures organization and cleanliness ofstores areaincludingorganization and safe storage of all stocked parts and materials.
Ensures outbound shipments processed through the storeroom function are properly documented.
Tracks andmaintainswarranty parts and the status of the application of warranty parts as related to specific equipment.
Creates and approves requisitions for necessary parts and supplies within theEAMandSAPapplications.
The ideal candidate should possess the following:
Bachelors degree in a technical field or related field preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
At least 5years of supervisory experiencerequired.
At least5 years of inventory management experiencerequired.
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to work in a team-based environment
Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills
Familiarity withCMMSsuch as MP2 SAP and/or EAM preferred.
Advanced knowledge of technology including:
Mechanical and electrical parts components and consumables
Part specifications and quality
Advanced computer skillsproficiencywith MS Office
Ability toworka flexible schedule with little notice.
Frequent standing/walking.
Frequent bending climbing kneeling and reaching overhead throughout shift.
Occasional pushing and pulling with arms legs and body throughout shift.
Occasional lifting or carrying up to 50 pounds.
Frequent repetitive use of hands.
Occasional simple/light firm/strong grasping with the hands.
Some Travel to Repair Shopsand/or other Sites
