Key Requirements:
- 3 months of relevant warehouse storeroom inventory or material-handling experience
- Experience with receiving stocking picking packing or issuing materials
- Experience with inventory and cycle counting is preferred
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn internal systems
- Ability to lift 35 lbs. unassisted
- Ability to read and follow safety rules work orders and procedures
- Reliable punctual and comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Must have a personal vehicle for occasional travel to a second plant in North Charleston
- Steel-toe or safety shoes required
- Comfortable working in a warehouse/storeroom environment without AC
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive unload inspect and put away incoming products parts tools and equipment
- Issue parts materials tools and equipment to employees
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts
- Load vending machines and Point-of-Use (POU) areas
- Travel to a second plant a few times per week to support material loading
- Label organize and store materials in racks shelves and bins
- Assist with receiving and inventory replenishment
- Enter inventory information into computer systems
- Investigate missing or misplaced equipment and materials
- Maintain a clean organized and safe storeroom environment
- Provide professional customer service to employees and site personnel
