The Storekeeper is responsible for receiving storing issuing picking and transporting materials required for manufacturing operations. This role ensures accurate inventory control safe material handling and timely delivery of materials to support production schedules. The Storekeeper operates warehouse equipment including forklifts sideloaders and stackers while maintaining compliance with company safety and quality standards.

Job Summary
The Storekeeper is responsible for receiving storing issuing picking and transporting materials required for manufacturing operations. This role ensures accurate inventory control safe material handling and timely delivery of materials to support production schedules. The Storekeeper operates warehouse equipment including forklifts sideloaders and stackers while maintaining compliance with company safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive inspect and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery documentation.
- Store materials in designated warehouse locations following inventory management procedures.
- Pick stage and issue materials components and finished goods according to production and customer requirements.
- Operate forklifts sideloaders stackers pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks while ensuring proper handling of materials to prevent damage.
- Transport materials between warehouse production and shipping areas.
- Perform inventory transactions and maintain accurate records in warehouse management systems
- Monitor stock levels and report inventory discrepancies or shortages.
- Ensure materials are properly labeled identified and stored.
- Maintain a clean organized and safe warehouse environment following 5S and housekeeping standards.
- Follow all SLB safety policies procedures and quality requirements.
- Assist with packaging shipping and receiving activities as required.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within warehouse and logistics operations.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a warehouse storekeeping logistics or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Experience operating forklifts sideloaders stackers and other material handling equipment.
- Basic computer skills and experience with inventory management systems.
- Ability to read and understand shipping documents material requests and inventory records.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
