Storage Operations & Customer Relations Manager

Position Summary

We are looking for a dependable and results-driven Storage Operations & Customer Relations Manager to oversee the daily functions of our storage facility. This position combines customer service sales facility oversight and business development. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader who can build strong customer relationships maintain property standards and help grow occupancy through effective marketing and community engagement.

Essential Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the storage facility and ensure smooth business performance.
  
• Assist customers with unit rentals account inquiries and storage solutions.
  
• Drive occupancy growth through sales efforts customer retention and local marketing initiatives.
  
• Establish and maintain relationships with local businesses organizations and community members to generate new leads.
  
• Monitor the facility to ensure it remains clean secure and professionally maintained.
  
• Manage customer accounts collections reports and other administrative functions.
  
• Address customer concerns promptly and provide exceptional service throughout the rental process.
  
• Track operational performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  
• Maintain compliance with company policies and operational procedures.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience managing a self-storage facility is a plus.
  
• Management leadership or supervisory experience required.
  
• Strong sales communication and customer service abilities.
  
• Ability to work independently while effectively managing multiple responsibilities.
  
• Experience with community outreach marketing or business development preferred.
  
• Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn property management software.
  
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
