Job Summary

Required Skills -

- 5 years of dedicated enterprise storage engineering experience with at least 3 years specifically focused on Dell EMC platforms.

- Dell EMC NAS Expertise: Deep technical knowledge of PowerScale/Isilon (OneFS) architecture. Experience with SmartPools SmartQuotas SyncIQ InsightIQ and DataIQ.

- Object Storage Expertise: Proven experience deploying and managing Dell EMC ECS (Elastic Cloud Storage). Strong understanding of object-based architectures buckets namespaces and geo-replication.

- Protocol Proficiency: Advanced understanding of file and object protocols including NFS (v3/v4) SMB/CIFS and S3 API.

- Networking & Systems: Strong grasp of storage networking concepts (TCP/IP DNS VLANs LACP) and directory services integration (Active Directory LDAP Kerberos).

Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex system logs and performance metrics.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with other Dell EMC storage arrays (PowerMax VPLEX) or SAN switches (Brocade Cisco MDS).

- Familiarity with hybrid-cloud storage tiering (e.g. CloudPools tiering to AWS/Azure/GCP).

Experience with infrastructure-as-code and configuration management tools (Ansible Terraform).

Scripting proficiency in Python PowerShell or Bash.
